John Henry ( known as Henry) was born on 10 May1884 at
94 Valence Cottages, Chadwell Heath, Essex to parents John
and Mary Ann. Married Annie Hunt on 26Oct1907, who was
born at Lane Farm, Exmoor, Somerset.
Children Arthur, Doris and Rene were born before Henry joined
the "Coldstream Guards" during the 1st World War. He then
transferred to the Military Police in 1916 on returning from France
and on 14 Dec 1917 Reg was born at Goffs Cottages, Northchapel,
Sussex
